Pixlr Assignment

You will be learning how to perform basic (and some advanced) image editing skills. You will be learning a new online tool called PIXLR that is free and a great way to edit your images. Pixlr has two different levels to their program, so make sure to choose the correct one.

Pixlr Express – One of my favorite programs. This version of Pixlr is easy to use, but gives you plenty of control to adjust your images that way you want.
Pixlr Editor – A professional-style image editor. This version of Pixlr is set up like Photoshop and offers a lot of control and more options. You can also save your project file to be able to edit your picture more at a later time.

Your first image editing assignment:

After becoming familiar with Pixlr Express in class, you will use this tool to edit three images. You must use the following tools in any of the 3 images: Liquify, Focal, Splash and Heal. You may also use other effects if you’d like.

1. Create at least 3 images edited in Pixlr Express for upload to your website as well as use on your picture project. Make sure at least one of your images includes a title/text.
